Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.
Rotary is enhanced by the local club's projects and events. A few of ours include the following:
- annual college scholarships
- sponsorship of our Rotary Scholar overseas
- support for specific Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Birmingham Zoo projects
- contribution of food, clothing and money to approved charities
- Weekly lunch meetings that offer fellowship, community contacts, interesting programs/ speakers, and opportunities to serve the community and Rotary International
